How to Shed Off Weight in Easy Steps



I had grown plump and round, weighing 73 kg three years back. I was dismayed to weigh so much compared to my height. I wanted to lose weight badly but I figured out I couldn't make time for the Gym nor could I go for workouts. A solution needed to be sorted out. In this article, I show the easy steps I took to come back to my ideal weight. Please read on.

First of all, by and by, I got rid of all the fast food including the junk ones from my diet. I started having homemade cooked meals including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and snacks, and finally dinner.

The next step I took was cutting off portions of my meals to smaller chunks little by little so that I didn't feel hungry, yet gradually became accustomed to the new habit.

Breakfast consisted of a piece of bread with vegetables or jam. Lunch included our staple food i.e., rice, varieties of vegetables, sauce and a piece of fish. Take note of the fact that I rarely took chicken or beef which are protein-rich food with higher calories. Dinner was somewhat similar while snacks during afternoon tea were just two tiny dark chocolate cookies.

I gradually reduced intake of rice in my meals and sugar in my tea, which are in fact, rich in carbohydrates.

I kept a weight chart and measured my weight every Wednesday, and I was happy to gradually begin to shed off weight.

I exercised simply by taking a walk every day around the block for 10 minutes only.

Taking all of the easy steps above, my weight declined to 65 kg in two months. I remain steady around this weight and wouldn't like to take extreme measures to giving myself a slimmer shape. I feel great at this weight and make my way along the stairs or on the ground with easy movements. Therefore, I consider this to be my ideal weight.

You do not have to slim down to a zero figure to look great. You can just drop down to the weight that you feel good and comfortable, still remaining healthy. Some people I know do diet and exercise but still look a little oversized. It doesn't matter so long they feel good about themselves, going about their own work because that is their ideal healthy weight. I guess you get the idea.

Follow my easy steps for losing weight and you will definitely pat yourself on the shoulder when you start to see positive results for yourself. Trust me: these steps are bound to work well. Once you reach your ideal weight, the way you carry yourself will do the rest to make you look attractive and graceful.
