Free Boot Camp Workout Exercises



Join the health club. Go to the gym. Find another place to workout. Most people fall short of their fitness goals due to the simple fact they don't feel like going through the hassle of making it to the gym. These boot camp exercises can be done practically anywhere leaving us with no excuse to skip a workout!

Before we get started keep in mind the most important aspect of exercise is safety. Always be sure to avoid specific workouts you may be uncomfortable with and always stretch out for a minimum of 5 minutes before and after each workout session. I recommend doing some light cardio for 5-10 minutes after your pre-workout stretch which will help lubricate your joints and warm you up to avoid injury.

Now let's get started! Be sure to use proper form and complete each circuit as quickly as possible with only a 2 minute rest between.

Warm-Up

5 minutes jogging and dancing in place

Circuit I

40 air squats
30 second plank
30 push ups or until failure
40 burpees
20 high knees

Circuit II

50 air squats
50 4-count mountain climbers
50 alternating lunges
50 4-count flutter kicks
50 jumping jacks

Circuit III

20 high knees
25 chair dips
25 burpees
30 sit ups
20 push ups or until failure

Cooldown

2 minutes light jog in place and 5 minutes stretching

Keep in mind it is always nice to have some tunes and friends around to add some competition to you workouts! This will help you stay motivated and keep pushing when you start feeling drained.

After awhile you may want to spice it up or add some new obstacles to your routine. This is understandable.There is always the opportunity to add more repetitions or even new workouts to the circuit. Even an entire new circuit in general if your feeling frisky is great. Work your way up and push yourself to go harder whenever you feel comfortable. You can customize these boot camp workouts to fit almost any schedule. Remember spending hours in the gym is certainly not necessary to benefit from exercising. Even a 10 minute session will help boost calorie burn and set you on the right course each day to your physical desires.
